Terms & Conditions of Warranty

Dongle

Only ONE dongle will be issued for every purchase. The dongle will be warranted for 1 year from date of purchase. After warranty, faulty dongle can be replaced at $40 per piece. All faulty dongles must be 1-to-1 exchanged and self-collected. There will be NO replacement for lost or misplaced dongle. Provided a police report is lodged and subject to our management approval, a new dongle with the latest upgraded version can be installed at 60% of prevailing retail price.

On-site / Phone Support

On-site training of Homebiz usage is provided free once only on the day of program installation. Other on-site support for Homebiz is chargeable at $90 per visit (2 hours) within the first year and $150 per visit (2 hours) thereafter. There will be no support for Homebiz version that are 2 years and older (i.e. customers who skipped upgrading for 2 or more subsequent releases). We do not provide support for virus, spyware, windows corruption or other general system and hardware related problems.

Data Protection

The Homebiz data is encrypted and cannot be exported into plain text or excel. A singe special export function licence is available at separate costs.

Hifax Usage

A compatible fax modem and a normal fixed line (non-digital) are required. We do not guarantee Hifax will work with all modems. Fax data is provided on best effort basis, we do no guarantee successful faxes to the numbers. For customers who paid additional $200 for the Hifax function, and proved that Hifax did not work with their hardware within 2 months of purchase will have $200 refund to them (subject to terms).

Minor Data Updates

There are minor updates for residential addresses, scheduled on Feb, Apr, Jun 2013. These updates are free and its release are not guaranteed but on best effort basis.

Do-Not-Call Registry

Customers must abide to Singapore regulations on ?Do-Not-Call? registry. They are solely responsible for any violations and complaints.

Customers who skip but upgrade after 2 or more subsequent release later will need to pay additional $200 on top of principal upgrading cost for every version missed (due to depreciation of old version).

E.g. Bought Ver 20. Upgrade to Ver 21, cost = $600 + $200 (missed 1 version)

Bought Ver 19. Upgrade to Ver 21, cost = $600 + $400 (missed 2 versions)
